Thanksgiving is a holiday for sharing time with friends and family, giving thanks and watching football. Oh yeah, there’s one great thing I forgot to mention – the food! On this wonderful day of gorging myself with turkey, I thought it would be cool to highlight some of the Star Wars food dishes that fans around the universe have concocted in homage of one of the greatest stories ever told. Here they are:

5.) Darth Vader Taters

At first glance, you’re thinking “WTF, these are only tater tots?” My thoughts exactly! That’s what makes them so freaking cool. From now on I can order Darth Vader Taters anywhere I go. Hell yeah!

4.) Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sabers

They have combined two of my favorite things; chocolate covered pretzels (with colored icing) and light sabers! The only thing that would make this better is if they had red ones. Just sayin’.

3.) Storm Trooper Cheese Balls

The cheese ball is the staple food of any decent Dungeons and Dragons party, and if you’re an RPG player you know that when there’s a cheese ball, there’s also a really good game lurking around the corner. I would proudly showcase this badboy at one of my games. “Aren’t you a little short for a Storm Trooper?”

2.) The Chewbacca Chew

I’m not really sure if that’s what this thing is called, but it sounds cool as hell. I would quickly propose to the girl who packed this into my lunch bag before work. Then I would call it off after I realized how crappy it tastes. I’m reminded of an old Star Wars joke:

Two storm troopers are in a bar eating. One asks his friend, “Hey, hows that Wookie steak?” “Not that bad” Replies the other, “but it’s a bit Chewie!”.

1.) Darth Vader Pizza

This took number one because it’s the most desirable thing for dinner out of the lot. As Han Solo once said, “She doesn’t look like much, but she’s got it where it counts”. I’ll bet you Dominos would sell tons of pizzas just like this if they put them on the menu. Vader, it’s what’s for dinner.
